An Erie man was arrested on gun charges at Sassy’s Truck Stop in Carrollton Monday evening.
Deputies of the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s charged 41-year-old Robert A. Allen with criminal possession of a firearm.
The charges stem from an employee of Sassy’s Truck Stop finding a firearm in the bathroom.
While deputies investigated this incident, Allen allegedly came back into Sassy’s in order to retrieve the firearm that was not registered in the State of New York.
Allen was released with an appearance ticket and is due in the Carrollton Town Court at a later date for further proceedings.
