Basketball season is getting closer, and St. Bonaventure has released the 2026-27 schedule — the first for new head coach Mike MacDonald, a Bonnies alum taking over the program this fall. It all kicks off with a pair of exhibitions against Penn State at the Greenlight Preseason Showcase in Buffalo on October 17th, followed by an exhibition against Division Two Point Park at the Reilly Center on October 24th.
The regular season tips off November 2nd at home against Youngstown State, before the Bonnies hit the road November 7th at Canisius. St. Bonaventure then plays three straight at the Reilly Center before Thanksgiving — Cornell, Lafayette, and Buffalo.
December brings Florida Atlantic to Allegany, a trip to Siena to defend the Coughlin Franciscan Cup, and a three-game home stretch against UAlbany, Mercyhurst, and Roberts Wesleyan to close out non-conference play.
Tipoff times for all games are still TBA per the release — nothing to add there until the school announces them.
