If your home or property sustained damage from yesterday’s flooding, the McKean County Department of Emergency Services is asking that you report those damages their office as soon as possible.
Damage reports help local, state, and federal emergency management officials determine the overall impact of the event and identify what recovery resources may become available.
Reporting damage does not guarantee financial assistance, but it is a critical step in the damage assessment process.

Damage to the main living areas of your home (first floor, upper floors, attached garage, etc.)
Structural damage to your home, garage, barn, or other buildings
Damage to personal property or household contents
Loss of major appliances or mechanical equipment such as:
• Washer/Dryer
• Hot Water Tank
• Furnace or Boiler
• Electrical Panel
• Well or Septic Components
Damage to farm equipment, business property, or other significant personal property.

• Photos of the Damage (if available)
