A Wellsville mother and her 6-year-old child tragically died in Allegany County Thursday afternoon after an ATV flipped and pinned them underneath.
New York State Police state that 38-year-old Ashley R. Robichaud was operating a 2003 Polaris Trail Boss four-wheeler with her two children, ages 6 and 3, that flipped on top of them at the bottom of Niles Hill Road pasture.
Fortunately, Mercy Flight took the 3-year-old to Golisano Children’s Hospital in Rochester with non-life-threatening injuries.
