A Port Allegany man recently convicted of first-degree murder has had his sentencing date set.
29-year-old Brian Kuchinka pled guilty to shooting K-Leigh Hill-Nelson to death in February of 2025 and abuse of a corpse during a hearing last September but did not agree that he intentionally killed her.
A Judge decided on Aug 26 that Kuchinka was guilty of premeditated murder.
His sentencing is scheduled for 9AM on Monday, Oct 5.
