The NFL is back tonight, and it’s an instant rematch of Super Bowl LX. The defending champion Seattle Seahawks host the New England Patriots at Lumen Field to kick off the 2026 season, with Seattle unveiling its championship banner before kickoff, seven months after their 29-13 win over these same Patriots. It’s just the second time in history the Kickoff Game has featured a direct Super Bowl rematch.
New England brings real revenge motivation, led by MVP runner-up Drake Maye and newly acquired receiver A-J Brown. But Seattle enters as the three-point favorite, with the over-under set at 44-and-a-half. Given how thoroughly the Seahawks dominated this same matchup in February, expect a closer game this time, but Seattle’s home crowd and championship pedigree make them the smart pick to open the season 1-and-0.
