A Smethport woman was accused Tuesday of taking Girl Scout cookie funds from a Forrest County troop.
Marienville-based Pennsylvania State Police charged 35-year-old Sarah Jayne Weister with felony theft by failure to make required disposition of funds.
The charges stem from Weister allegedly failing to deposit more than $2,000 in Girl Scout cookie-sale proceeds into a Forest County troop’s bank account back in January 2025.
