Pat Narduzzi has Pitt rolling. The Panthers beat rival Syracuse 27-to-13 Thursday night at Acrisure Stadium, improving to 3-and-0 to start the season and extending their home winning streak in the series to 12 straight. It’s Narduzzi’s 20th win against Syracuse in his last 24 meetings with the Orange, continuing a stretch of dominance in one of the ACC’s oldest rivalries.
The win also came in Narduzzi’s 144th game as Pitt’s head coach, passing Hall of Famer Jock Sutherland for the most games coached in program history.
Pitt opens ACC road play next Friday at Virginia Tech.
