Buffalo outshot Minnesota twenty-eight to twenty, but Wild goalie Jesper Wallstedt stopped twenty-five. At the other end, Colten Ellis, making his first appearance of the season, turned aside eighteen of twenty shots, and he was perfect after those two second-period goals. The Sabres are two and one.
