A Randolph man was charged with beating someone with a baseball bat on South Loop Road Coldspring Saturday evening.
Deputies of the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office charged 35-year-old Dean M. Walters with Assault, Menacing and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
The charges stem from Walters allegedly hitting the victim in the head with a baseball bat.
Walters was found hiding in a car in a junkyard on Railroad Ave.
Walters was remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail and is due in the Town of Coldspring Court at a later date for further proceedings.
