The Milwaukee Brewers are two wins from their first World Series title. They lead the Tampa Bay Rays two games to none, and the series moves to Florida tonight.
Game one, Friday: Brewers 3, Rays 2. Jacob Misiorowski allowed one run over five innings, and Trevor Megill struck out Jonny DeLuca with the tying run on base to end it.
Game two, Saturday: Brewers 5, Rays 4. Tampa Bay led four-nothing after one inning. Milwaukee came back. Sal Frelick tied it with a sixth-inning homer, and Cooper Pratt’s RBI single in the seventh won it.
Game three is tonight at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, eight Eastern. Freddy Peralta, the former Brewers ace, starts for the Rays. He is seven-and-oh with a point-eight-nine E-R-A over his last ten games. Milwaukee counters with lefty Robert Gasser.
Teams up two-nothing have won the title eighty-one percent of the time.
