Two inmates have been charged in separate cases of smuggling drugs into McKean County Jail.
According to District Attorney Stephanie Vettenburg-Shaffer, Francis Cramer began serving a sentence at the Jail on November 25th, and three days later contraband was found in a plastic baggie in his cell.
In an unrelated case, Jose Robinson was taken to the Jail after being sentenced on December 2nd, and allegedly brought a controlled substance into the jail with him.
Both men have been scheduled for preliminary hearings on December 22nd.
I don’t understand how inmates can bring in contraband when they are strip searched upon entering jail. I blame the ****** that work as guards. They are only guards because they couldn’t make it to become regular police officers. If they did their job more securely no contraband would be found in the jail.
Wow…thats really naive and ignorant to assume. People like you that run their mouth and know nothing about what they’re saying are half the problem in this world.
Contraband isn’t hard to sneak in if you know what you’re doing. Easy as that.
As for the guards…I have a friend who started there. He now works as a full time real on duty police officer in South carolina…..therefore you’re assumption is outrageous and erroneous.
How is it easy to get in contraband if they are properly strip searched? I’ll ask for him again since you decided to reply so arrogantly but managed to avoid answering the question all together.
What does your CO friend making it to SCPD have to do with his statement being erroneous? Your friend’s situation does not prove the COs at mckean county jail are competent. All it proves is your friend wanted to be a cop but was a CO instead until she improved enough to become a actual police officer finally. Your statement just helps support his point.
Can’t wait to hear your answer as to how it’s easy to sneak in contraband if the COs are doing proper strip searches. I’ll wait…
