A local pharmacy chain is closing three of its five locations.
Buchanan Brothers Pharmacy announced Friday that they were closing their locations in Smethport, Eldred, and Coudersport and selling the locations to Rite-Aid.
Prescriptions will be automatically transferred to the Rite-Aid pharmacy in Port Allegany for Eldred and Smethport customers, and the Rite-Aid in Coudersport for Coudersport customers.
The stores in Westfield and Elkland are not affected by the sale.
