Pecherzewski Tapped to Lead GOACC

The Greater Olean Area Chamber of Commerce (GOACC) is thrilled to announce the
promotion of Christine Pecherzewski to Director of Events & Operations. Part-time Interim Executive
Director Adam Jester will remain contracted with the organization to handle marketing, advertising,
and business development.
“This year has been one of transition for the GOACC, with several new talented team members
joining the organization,” Jester said. “Christine came on in a part time role in February, and has
since held positions in Reception, Membership, and Events. We felt her skills and dedication to the
mission, and the members, made for a great opportunity to promote from within, to secure a full time
Director to lead the organization forward.”
Jester also announced the recent promotion of Belle Martinelli to Membership Services Specialist.
“Belle also came in as a part-timer originally, but as we revamped the roles and aligned folks with
their strengths and interests, it became clear that her skills were a perfect fit for this role.”
In addition, the Chamber welcomes Receptionist Meg Pavone to the team, to provide some much
needed bandwidth as the calendar turns toward the busy holiday event and shopping season.

Olean for a variety of gifts and stocking stuffers – including local business ornaments, gift

The area’s favorite holiday tradition – the Santa Claus Lane Parade – is the next event on the
schedule, happening on Friday, November 29th on North Union St in Olean. The parade begins at
6:30pm. Applications are still being accepted to participate in the parade at
