On Monday, the Pittsburgh Penguins announced they have acquired forward Philip Tomasino from the Nashville Predators in exchange for a 2027 fourth-round draft pick. Tomasino made it into town and did practice with the team on Tuesday, and he can hardly contain his excitement about becoming a Pittsburgh Penguin. “I don’t even know how to describe it, ” explained Tomasino. “I mean, just exciting. Obviously, I’ve been in Nashville since day one, so obviously it feels a little bit different, but I’m really excited, man. It’s a great place to play. I always love playing here on the road, so I’m looking forward to tomorrow night here.”
November has been rough for the Penguins, losing eight out of the 11 games in the month of November. However, Coach Mike Sullivan says they still work to keep a positive mindset. The Penguins will try to regroup as they face the San Jose Sharks at home tomorrow night (November 27) at 7pm.
