A mass-casualty car accident was reported on E Second St early Monday evening in Coudersport.
At 4:39 pm, the Coudersport Fire Department were dispatched to a 3 vehicle accident with injuries and entrapment in front of 1001 East Second St.
5 wounded occupants escaped the wrecks and two people were heavily entrapped, so Air Medical was called to the scene.
Route 6 was shut down, both lanes east and westbound, so crews could work and extricate and treat those involved.
Mercy Flight transported one to Williamsport Hospital via air while all other patients remained at UPMC.
Crews returned to assist in cleanup of the accident scene and equipment.
The conditions of the victims have not been reported.
