An Olean woman was arrested after allegedly setting a fire in the woman’s bathroom in the Cattaraugus County Building in Olean this morning.
Deputies of the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office charged 50-year-old Brenda L. Anderson with Criminal Mischief and felony Arson.
The charges stem from an investigation where it was allegedly discovered that Anderson had used a lighter to light the toilet paper on fire, causing damage to the toilet paper holder and the wall it was attached to.
Anderson was processed, issued and appearance ticket, and is due back in Olean City Court at a later date.
