An Allegany man was arrested after a car chase in Salamanca late Sunday night.
Deputies of the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office charged 47-year-old Salvador Casares with Obstructing Governmental Administration, Resisting Arrest, Making a Terroristic Threat, Driving While Intoxicated and felony Aggravated DWI with Prior Less than 10 Years ago. Casares was also issued multiple uniform traffic tickets for return of the Salamanca City Court.
The charges stem from Casares allegedly leading deputies on a pursuit ending on Broad Street.
Cerares was released on his own recognizance and is due back in back in court at a later date.
