An Ohio man is in critical condition at UPMC Hamot after his tractor-trailer crashed on Interstate 86 this morning.
Police say 54-year-old Donald Tenny was traveling east at 5:15 a.m. when his semi went off the road and hit the median just before the Westman Road overpass in the Town of Ellery between the Route 430 and Strunk Road exits. They say he may have suffered a medical emergency before the crash.
The eastbound lane was closed to traffic for about four hours. The semi was removed at around 9 a.m. It was hauling building materials.
