UPDATE:
Ten fire departments battled a blaze at Potter Lumber Company in the Town of Allegany Wednesday night.
Allegany firefighters were called at 10:30 p.m. and, because of the large industrial building and large amount of timber, they called the Limestone, Westons Mills, Knapp Creek, Town of Olean, Hinsdale, City of Olean, Cuba and Humphrey fire departments, as well as National Grid.
Firefighters say due to the sprinkler system and their aggressive interior attack, damage was contained to the electrical room and a small portion of the roof above the mill.
The fire investigation team was ruled that the fire was accidental.
Firefighters were on the scene until 4:30 a.m.
Derrick City, Otto Township and Eldred Township were among the departments on standby.
