A Port Allegany man facing murder charges pled not guilty at his arraignment in McKean County Court Thursday.

27-year-old Brian Austin Kuchinka is charged with homicide; three counts of felony aggravated assault, three counts of recklessly endangering another person and newly added charges of prohibited possession of a firearm and abuse of a corpse.

The charges stem from Kuchinka allegedly murdering 28-year-old K-Leigh Hill-Nelson in late February.

5PM THURSDAY

A man pled not guilty on charges related to the theft of funds from the “Bradford Pumpkin Fest” finance account at his arraignment in McKean County Court Thursday.

44-year-old Justin Hartsel is charged with felony theft, felony identity theft, felony use of an access device and felony receiving stolen property.

5PM THURSDAY

The Massachusetts man who allegedly stole a Bradford Publishing Company truck and crashed it into the Holiday Inn Express building in October pled not guilty at his arraignment in McKean County Court Thursday.

46-year-old John Albert McWhinne faces charges of felony Theft by unlawful taking, felony Receiving Stolen Property, felony evading arrest on foot, reckless endangerment, careless driving and various traffic violations.

5PM THURSDAY

A Marshburg woman pled not guilty to charges of terroristic threats in McKean County Court Thursday.

61-year-old Sharon Ann Vandrish faces charges for allegedly firing a rifle near PA State troopers at her residence last May.

Her case was added to the trial list.

A Crosby woman pled guilty to unauthorized use of a motor vehicle in McKean County Court Thursday.
25-year-old Tannar Orndoff is charged with taking and eventually returning  a Ford 150 pickup that she was not entitled to from Keating Township. 
Sentencing is scheduled for July 3.



5PM THURSDAY
A Portville woman pled guilty to forging checks from Allegheny Store Fixtures in McKean County Court Thursday.
30-year-old Lisa Marie Thomas forged 14 checks totaling more than $31,000 from the business and cashed them without authorization.
Sentencing is scheduled for July 3.
