One western Pennsylvania borough is more into the latest zombie obsession than others.
Actually, Evans City has been zombie-obsessed since 1968 when the classic movie “Night of the Living Dead” was filmed there.
But Friday, city officials will place a historical marker at the borough library commemorating the filming of the George Romero-directed gore-fest.
The event kicks off the borough’s HalloWeekends, which feature Halloween-themed events throughout October.
