A Bradford man is facing several charges after being in possession of another person’s prescription drugs. Court records indicate that police received two calls concerning 19 year-old Andrew Owens, who had gone to the Subway at Union Square Plaza to talk to an ex-girlfriend, swallowed several prescription pills from a bottle and threatened to jump off a nearby bridge. Police later arrested Owens and charged him with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, vandalism and public drunkenness after he was found at Union Square under the influence of narcotics. He is also accused of ripping up several tiles at the holding center in the city police building. Owens is in the McKean County Jail on $50,000 bail.
