The Johnny Football era in Cleveland may have come to an end. Johnny Manziel is already done as the Brown’s starting quarterback as Browns head coach Mike Pettine announced that Manziel is now the third-string quarterback behind both Josh McCown and Austin Davis. CBS Sports says that Pettine will not play Manziel again this season and that ownership is strongly considering parting ways with their former first-round pick. The decision to bench Manziel comes just days after a video emerged that showed Manziel partying and holding a bottle of alcohol during the Browns’ bye week.
