The Bradford Creative and Performing Arts Center (BCPAC) named board officers and welcomed new board members at its annual meeting on Tuesday.
Fred Feightner was elected BCPAC board president. Shane Oschman previously held the presidency.
Feightner expressed his excitement about his new role; “BCPAC’s board is like a family to me, so I am truly honored to have been chosen to serve with our dedicated board members. The organization has so many strengths upon which we can build new growth. We thank all of BCPAC’s supporters and sponsors who are responsible for the incredible headline entertainment we bring exclusively to the Bradford area.”
Feightner is the Senior Marketing and Communications manager for W.R. Case and Sons Cutlery Company and a current BCPAC board member.
Reflecting on his time served as president, Oschman said “I am excited for the future of BCPAC. I love this organization. I am grateful to be part of bringing these live shows to our community. After many years it is time to step away and to allow fresh perspectives to lead. With the dedication of our excellent board, our Director Lauren Marshall and office professionals I have no doubt the organization will flourish”
Patrick Ryan has been elected the board vice president. Former vice president Jeaninne Schoenecker resigned from the board in April. Current board member Lisa Esch was named recording secretary, a role previously filled by Ryan.
Terri Leven, current corresponding secretary and Lori Huber, current Treasurer will stay in their respective officer positions. Three new members have been elected to the board – Brittany Keck and Nathan Lawyer at Tuesday’s meeting and Heather McDonald in April.
Keck is the Director of Human Resources at Futures Rehabilitation Center and expressed excitement about working with BCPAC, “As a young community member, I enjoy all aspects of the arts. Whether it be live music, art exhibits, or photography. I am eager to utilize my skills while growing and learning from the Bradford Arts Community and from my fellow BCPAC Board Members. I appreciate this opportunity and am excited for this new journey!” Keck said.
Lawyer, the Executive Director of the McKean County Arts Council said he is “honored to have been invited to join the board of the Bradford Creative and Performing Arts Center. I’m excited to help BCPAC bring new stories, performances, and adventures to our area!”, Lawyer said.
McDonald is the Human Resources Manager for Dresser Natural Gas Solutions, “I’m excited to be joining the team of such a wonderful organization,” she remarked.
BCPAC’s 36th season’s lineup will be announced the first weekend in August, including a live announcement at the Big 30 All-Star Charities Classic game in Bradford.
