Judge John Cleland is considering whether to order a hearing where Jerry Sandusky’s lawyers can question witnesses about defense claims that the former Penn State assistant football coach was unfairly convicted of child molestation.
During a hearing today, Cleland pressed Sandusky lawyer Al Lindsay about whether state law even allows the sort of questioning he wants to do.
Sandusky did appear in court but played no active role.
Cleland didn’t say when he expects to rule on the matter.
