Two Cuba, New York, residents have been arrested for selling drugs in Bradford.
On Friday, the McKean County Drug Task Force, with Bradford City police officers, confiscated Subutex and Neurontin following the arrests of Danyelle Chiarilli and Rudy Tyler.
The arrests were the culmination of their investigation into the illegal sale of Subutex, according to a news release.
Chiarilli is charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance; possession of a controlled substance; conspiracy possession with intent to deliver; and criminal use of a communication facility. Her bail is $10,000
Tyler is charged with conspiracy possession with intent to deliver and conspiracy possession of a controlled substance. His bail is $5,000.
The criminal complaints say Tyler and Chiarilli travelled to McKean County to sell the controlled substances and, once they got here, Chiarilli sold Subutex to two people. At the time, they were under direct surveillance by city and task force officers.
District Attorney Stephanie Vettenberg-Shaffer says, “The sale of illegal drugs continues to be a primary focus of law enforcement in McKean County.” She asks that anyone with information on drug crimes call the drug task force at her office, 814-887-3312, ext. 3 or 5.
