The Chicago Cubs dumped the Pittsburgh Pirates Wednesday afternoon 6-2. With the win the Cubs swept the three game set from the second place Pirates and are now a major league best 20-6 and lead the division by six games. Matt Joyce jacked a two run homer for the Bucs. Andrew McCutchen, David Freese and Josh Harrison each had two hits. Juan Nicasio took the loss allowing four runs, but just one earned run, on eight hits and three walks in 4 1/3 innings.
