The New York Knicks fought and rallied to a win over the Los Angeles Lakers yesterday 124-123. The Lakers, who held as much as an 11 point lead in the final minutes, fell victim to a Knicks 13-1 point burst in the closing moments.
Trailing by one point, Lebron James brought up the ball for the Lakers in the final seconds. James drove left and tried to put up a short jumper for the win but was blocked by Mario Henzonja.
James finished with 33 points, eight assists and six rebounds in the losing effort.
Emmanuel Mudiay had 28 points and eight assists for the Knicks, helping snap an eight-game losing streak.
