A Galeton man could spend up to 40 years in prison for selling heroin to a man who died shortly have taking it.
A jury found 28-year-old Jonathan Proctor guilty of a number of charges, including drug delivery resulting in death.
Daniel Lowe died in December of 2012, and experts during Proctor’s trial say his death was a direct result of taking the heroin.
In a news release, Potter County District Attorney Andy Watson said the conviction marks a new era in the county and makes a strong statement in the war against drugs and other controlled substances.
