The Pittsburgh Pirates dumped the St., Louis cardinals Sunday night at Williamsport, PA, the site of the Little League World Series 6-3. Josh Bell homered and drove in four runs to lead the Bucs. The teams played at renovated Bowman Field, a 91-year-old minor league ballpark located 5 miles from where the Little League World Series is taking place. Adam Frazier also homered for the Pirates. Ivan Nova got the win allowing three runs on eight hits and struck out five in 5 2/3 innings. The Pirates, who were the “home” team, won their second in a row to split the four-game series.
