The Boston Red Sox nipped the NY Yankees Sunday night 8-7. Travis Shaw homered and Dustin Pedroia and Xander Bogaerts each had three hits for the Red Sox. Alex Rodriguez doubled and homered and had four RBI for the Yankees. David Price got the win for Boston despite allowing six runs on eight hits in eight innings of work. Boston has won seven of eight gamers to move into first place in the AL East. The Yankees have lost a season-high five games in a row.
