Charter-Spectrum will be allowed to continue offering cable and internet service in New York under an agreement reached with regulators yesterday.
Late yesterday, the New York Department of Public Service announced that Charter had agreed to expand its network to provide high-speed broadband service to 145,000 residences and businesses outside New York City by September 30, 2021.
Charter also agreed to pay $12 million to expand broadband service to additional unserved and underserved regions.
