With the first significant snowfall of the season comes accidents and road closures.
Part of South Kendall Avenue and James City Hill were closed for several hours because of disabled tractor-trailers.
Accidents were reported on the Route 219 overpass near Foreman Street, as well as Route 219 between Westline and Lantz Corners, and near Burning Well Road.
A vehicle reportedly crashed into a house on Route 646 in Cyclone.
Among the other accidents were one near Myra’s on Route 6, one near Rosie’s Diner on Bennetts Valley Highway, and another near Northern Potter High School.
In New York, the Jaws of Life were used after an accident near Belfast. Crashes were also reported on I-86 in the City of Olean and near the Hinsdale exit.
