A New York State woman accused of selling drugs in Bradford has waived her preliminary hearing.
28-year-old Melissa Wilson of Portville, New York, is accused of driving a Buffalo man to Bradford, where he allegedly sold crack cocaine to a confidential informant with the McKean County Drug Task Force. Court papers say when police were searching Wilson after taking her into custody, they found 1/2 gram of cocaine, 5 grams of heroin and 12 grams of cocaine.
District attorney Stephanie Vettenburg-Shaffer says they also found about $1,700 in cash.
Wilson remains in McKean County Jail, as does her co-defendant Larry “Minni” Jones.
