The former interim fire chief of Bradford has been sentenced in McKean County Court on charges he stole money from his aunt’s bank account in 2015. 41 year-old Richard Zmuda, who pleaded guilty in April to taking money from a joint account he shared with his aunt, was sentenced to a year of probation. Zmuda’s attorney, Greg Henry, told the court that he has repaid his aunt $25,000. He must also serve 50 hours of community service and send an apology letter to his aunt as part of the plea agreement.
