Wrestling legend “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, the kilt-wearing trash-talker who headlined the first WrestleMania and later found movie stardom, has died at the age of 61.
Piper suffered a heart attack at his home in Hollywood.
WWE chairman and CEO Vince McMahon said in a statement that Piper “was one of the most entertaining, controversial and bombastic performer ever in WWE, beloved by millions of fans around the world.”
