The Bradford YWCA’s year of activities celebrating its 100th anniversary culminates on Saturday with a family-friendly Boo Day Party.
It includes a variety of activities for children including a costume contest, paper pumpkin coloring and a bounce house.
Party organizer Hope Sherk says they’ve decided to document the day so people 100 years from now can see what the celebration was like.
There’s also an apple and pumpkin pie contest. If you’d like to enter, you can call the YW before 4:30 tomorrow afternoon for all the details.
Boo Day is from noon to 4 at the YWCA on West Corydon Street.
It’s not the only Halloween and fall-related activity in the area on Saturday, though.
There’s a Harvest Festival from 1 to 3 at North Kendall Park. The Penn Brad Oil Museum is holding its season wrap-up celebration, and it includes donuts and fresh-made on-site apple cider. You can hear scary stories and do crafts at the Seneca Iroquois National Museum in Salamanca and you can learn about owls at the Pfieffer Nature Center in Portville.
You can find information about all of these activities – and more – on the community calendar page at WESB.com
