A man with a lengthy criminal history in McKean and Cattaraugus counties is in trouble again after a domestic incident on East Washington Street in Bradford this afternoon.
City police say when they got to the bridge no one was there, but witnesses on Charlotte Avenue told them that the man assaulting the woman went into 15 Charlotte Avenue.
Police made contact with 23-year-old Casey Gilcrease, who said the two had an argument but there was nothing going on. But the woman — -who police say had visible signs of contact – said she was trying to get her children away from Gilcrease but he was pulling on the stroller, then grabbed her hair, pulling some out, and pushed and pulled her around on the bridge.
He was sent to McKean County Jail.
Earlier this year, Gilcrease was charged for leaving a baby home when he was supposed to be watching the one-year-old. Instead of watching the child, he was getting kicked out of the liquor store on Davis Street three times for being drunk, and was asking other people to buy alcohol for him, according to court records.
Two years ago in Cattaraugus County he killed a kitten by slamming it to the ground and, a month later, violated an order of protection by damaging property in the Town of Yorkshire.
He also started a fire that got out of control in a vacant building at a shopping plaza in Yorkshire.
