Over 250 Special Olympians competed Wednesday in the 41st Special Olympics Track and Field Meet at Kane. Event coordinator Pat Ryan says there were special athletes from five to 72 at the games. Six athletes will now be chosen to move on to the Pennsylvania Special Olympics state games June 2-4 at Penn State. Ashley Komidar, a teacher at Kane elementary School, was the track and field event director.
