The NY Yankees topped the LA Angels 6-3. Michael Pineda, who is currently in jeopardy of losing his spot in the rotation had his second straight solid outing, with seven good innings. Pineda allowed three runs on four hits in seven innings of work to grab the win. Andrew Miller earned his seventh save pitching a scoreless ninth. Carlos Beltran hit a two run homer in the first.
