A coroner has identified the man found dead with up to half a million dollars’ worth of heroin inside his body earlier this month.
Clearfield County Coroner Mike Morris says, based on tests, Boris Anavisca-Reyes of Guatemala was transporting $250,000 to $500,000 worth of suspected heroin.
Anavisca-Reyes’ body was found Sept. 16 over a guardrail near routes 153 and 219.
Morris said he still is working with state police and drug enforcement officials to determine where the drugs came from and where they were going.
