Luis Severino didn’t allow a runner past second base until the seventh. Severino struck out nine and allowed two runs on three hits. The Pinstripes have won consecutive series for the first time since June 11. The Yankees, one game behind AL East-leading Boston, have stabilized by winning eight of 12.
