State Police say a man robbed a Crosby’s store and then turned himself in less than 12 hours later.
Troopers say 28-year-old Daniel Butler of Belmont, New York, robbed the Crosby’s on Route 19 in Amity at around 1:30 Monday morning. They say he partially showed a weapon and did leave with some cash.
Butler was identified within hours of the investigation, and then turned himself to state police at about 2 p.m.
He was charged with robbery and then sent to Allegany County Jail.
