A man surrendered Thursday night to sheriff’s deputies after a one hour standoff at a residence in Randolph. Deputies received a call that 37 year-old Joshua Dash was going to harm himself and heard gunshots when they arrived at the scene. They were later able to talk Dash into surrendering and he was taken to WCA Hospital in Jamestown for a mental health evaluation. Deputies recovered a pistol from the home.
