The Zippo Manufacturing Company is the largest employer in McKean County, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry, who released their list of the County’s top 50 employers.
Bradford Regional Medical Center was the second largest employer, followed by the Federal Government, the Bradford Area School District, and American Refining Group rounding out the top 5.
Elementary and Secondary Schools were the County’s largest industry, followed by Restaurants, Nursing, General Medical and Surgical Hospitals, and government.
The lists were compiled from data from the second quarter of 2017.
