A fire Tuesday night destroyed the Holt Grocery store in Grampian in Clearfield County. The state police fire marshal says the store had closed at 7pm and firefighters encountered heavy fire conditions when they arrived an hour and half later. Two firefighters were injured fighting the blaze. One was treated at the scene and released and the other was transported to Penn Highlands Clearfield for evaluation. The cause of the fire remains under investigation and damage is estimated at a half a million dollars.
