The NY Yankees topped the LA Angles in 12th innings Monday night 4-3. Gio Urshela’s RBI single in the top of the 12th was the winner. The injury-plagued Yankees have won four straight and six of their last seven games. After playing 3 1/2 hours in the Bronx on Sunday, the Yankees flew across the country and played another 4 1/2 hours in Anaheim. Jonathan Holder got the win after pitching the final two innings for the Yankees. JA Happ got a no decision with a three hitter in seven innings of work retiring 12 of the Angels’ final 13 batters.
