A Bradford man is accused of lying on a parking meter complaint form.
66-year-old James Zannelli is charged with a felony count of forgery and related misdemeanors in connection to the October 22 incident.
Court papers say Zannelli got a ticket while parked on Main Street and then went to City Hall to fill out the form, where he said the meter wouldn’t accept the dime and quarter he tried to put in it. But a police officer looked at security camera footage from the area and saw a man matching Zannelli’s description park across the street from the Forest Oil building and never attempt to put money in the meter.
After being arraigned, he was released on his own recognizance.
