Police have arrested the teenagers they believe broke into and damaged the William O. Smith Recreation Center and the Olean Center Mall.
They say a 17-year-old boy and a 14-year-old boy were charged with burglary in connection to the rec center break-in on April 28. 19-year-old Zakary McMillen and a 17-year-old boy were arrested for the second rec center burglary on July 8. McMillen and a 17-year-old boy were charged with burglary for the mall break-in and vandalism that happened Sunday.
They didn’t say if the same 17-year-old is charged in all the cases. McMillen is awaiting arraignment in Olean City Court. The others will appear in Family Court.
